Soft Tissue Oscillation Device/Therapy

Physical injury can creep up on you or it can happen suddenly while lifting, playing a sport, simply bending or even sneezing!

The Soft Tissue Oscillation therapy is a proven way to help you recover your fitness or former mobility in what could be a considerably shorter time than traditional massage. This treatment is a “hands-on” therapy which is augmented by a period of traditional massage at each session.

In order for electrostatic energy to be distributed and drained from the body, you will be asked to hold a steel bar in the palm of one hand which connects by wire to the unit. This creates a circuit between you and the therapist who is also connected to the unit. This is safe and you will not feel the electrostatic energy. Your therapist will wear gloves through which the electrostatic energy flows. A combination of massage and electrotherapy will commence with static electricity picking up and dropping tissue around the affected area while your therapist massages the area. Electrostatic treatment in this way will continue for up to about 20 min. (dependant on condition) after which your
therapist will continue with an oil based massage to complement and restore.
