Men's Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

What is the Pelvic Floor?

The pelvic floor comprises muscles and connective tissue that support abdominal organs, control the bowels and bladder and are involved in sexual function.

Physical Therapy For the Pelvic Floor

Abilene Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab offers a comprehensive treatment program for male patients suffering from incontinence and pelvic pain.  Rehabilitation of the pelvic floor is very similar to the treatment of other musculoskeletal problems in the body.  Through education, manual therapy, biofeedback and exercise, we can help decrease and manage symptoms.

Diagnoses treated (but not limited to):
  • Urinary Incontinence
    • Stress incontinence
    • Urge incontinence
    • Mixed incontinence
    • Overflow incontinence
  • Post-void dribble
  • Fecal Incontinence
  • General pelvic pain
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Post-surgical complications
  • Post-prostatectomy
  • Non-bacterial chronic prostatitis
  • Pudendal neuralgia
  • Painful tailbone
  • Chronic constipation

These issues are often times easily corrected so don’t wait any longer suffering from pain or incontinence.
"They were very respectful of me and my comfort level with some pretty invasive treatments. They let me work with one therapist to build a relationship with-that helped relieve my embarrassment. She was super invested in my comfort level and worked to make me feel as at ease as possible. I felt respected. Thank you Roxi."  D.E.
