Poor balance leads to an increased risk of falling. Among the elderly, falls are one of the more serious health concerns. Our therapists will first identify the source of your balance deficits. We will then develop a treatment plan involving exercises and activities to improve your balance and reduce your risk of falls. Use of assistive devices such as canes and walkers may be recommended and our therapists will provide instruction in proper use.  Your balance can improve and we would love to help!

Vestibular Therapy is a form of physical therapy that aims to help people who suffer from vestibular disorders, which are conditions that affect the inner ear and cause problems with balance, dizziness, and vertigo. Vestibular therapy involves exercises that are designed to stimulate the vestibular system and train the brain to use other senses, such as vision and touch, to compensate for the loss of vestibular function. Vestibular therapy can help reduce or eliminate the symptoms of vestibular disorders and improve the quality of life of the patients.
